I you enjoy peace and quiet, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling or just sitting by the dock and listening to the birds, you’ve got to check out this island paradise.  Upper Michigan Rentals is located in the middle of Lake Michigamme on Ramsey Island.  What could be better than to spend a quiet relaxing week in the middle of one of Upper Michigan’s premier sports lakes in the Main Lodge or the smaller more Rustic Cabin.  Besides the fact that we are located ON AN ISLAND, this property boasts a wide range of other unique services and amenities including a large 3600 square foot lodge rental with vaulted peaks overlooking beautiful Lake Michigamme, a smaller rustic cabin rental nestled in its own secluded little bay, a two person cabana up on the peak of the island and a Statue of Liberty that lights up.  Yep, that’s right!  The island has a Statue of Liberty and a range of other unique statues.  (Unique…. aka… WEIRD!!!)

The rustic small cabin is perfect for 2 to 4 people and a larger main lodge rental is suitable for larger parties.

At night, you can hang out in the middle of the island having a bonfire, watch a few movies or sit out on the deck and watch the moon out over the lake.  If you enjoy fishing, you can’t beat this lake day or night.  Lake Michigamme boasts multiple lodges, campgrounds, a DNR boat launch and more.  The town of Michigamme is a beautiful little Upper Michigan town where you can spend a relaxing afternoon wandering around.  If you’re looking for something a little larger, Munising, Ishpeming and Marquette are just a short drive down the road.
